Watch Jurassic World and help raise funds for Philippine Toy Library

My sister and my brother are celebrating their birthdays on June and they decided to help Philippine Toy Library with a fundraising event through a Jurassic World block screening this June 13, 2015.

What is Philippine Toy Library?

“Creating Spaces and Opportunities for Play”

With just a social media status, a national advocacy was born. Philippine Toy Library (PTL) was started by a group of volunteer-friends who came together and took on the challenge of providing the experience of play to our Filipino children. Formally launched in June 12, 2012, Philippine Toy Library (PTL) transforms idle spaces in barangays, schools, parishes, and partner organizations into fun and educational playrooms for the children in the community.

It aims to fill in the gap in setting up spaces for play in cramped urban centers. Children, whose families cannot afford to buy toys and books, will be able to experience playing and reading – experiences that are crucial to children’s development. Toy libraries will be the venue for fun and free play, meaningful social interaction of the same life stage and exploration and creation of imaginative worlds.
