The Manila leg of the Mamba Mentality Tour 2016 happened last Saturday (June 25, 2016), as Kobe inspired Filipinos with his philosophy of chasing perfection in every aspect of life, on and off court.
His day kicked off at Nike Run Club, dropped by the Ususan Covered Court in Taguig City, inviting teams to Mamba Mentality Night that evening.
At the Mamba Mentality Night held at SMART Araneta Coliseum, over 9,210 fans of the Black Mamba turned up and lit up the iconic stadium and paid tribute to the Black Mamba’s career.
Over 30 top runners from the Nike Run Club were surprised by Kobe Bryant after they finished a 10K run; he “welcomed” them with more intense training and physical challenges as part of his Mamba Mentality approach.
